Heart-stopping action

My heart was pounding when the 1972 Ferrari in this movie finally screeched to a stop at the conclusion of an incredible, non-stop sprint through the downtown streets of early-morning Paris.

The narrative in this film consists solely of the incredible sound (in Dolby 5.1 surround sound) of a Ferrari V-12 engine in full song. Many Ferrari aficianados consider the Ferrari 365GTC/4 to possess the ultimate V-12 Ferrari exhaust note, and this film certainly supports that assertion.

The viewer experiences the entire film from the driver's seat of this incredible car, as each gear is redlined and threshold braking is employed throughout the experience. Stop lights, pedestrians, and other vehicular traffic are totally ignored as the driver speeds to his destination: a rendezvous (naturally) with a woman (naturally) at the Basilica du Sacre Couer, the highest point in all Paris.

Only at the conclusion, as the car skids to a stop, does the Ferrari cease its high-pitched wail, and the viewer finally is offered an opportunity to catch a breath!

Thumbs up for a film that demands multiple viewings!
Wow this is bad!

This is the first review I've written - I'm writing it only to save you people who are thinking of buying it your money. This is by far the worst dvd I have ever seen! (Even worse than Pat.) The footage is sped up (very obviously) and sound effects are added to try and make it exciting - but doesn't work. - It's basically a nice slow Sunday drive in fast forward.
